Nancy O'Dell's debut work in the industry of broadcast was as a reporter/anchor at WPDE-TV Myrtle Beach South Carolina. She then worked as an anchor and morning reporter for WCBD TV. O'Dell's reporting on the lax response of the police in response to DUI cases in Charleston resulted in an investigation conducted by the State Law Enforcement Division, that led to a revised direction from the state authorities on DUI cases. The Associated Press awarded Ms. O'Dell with the Best Report of the year Award to the entire South Carolina media. After her time at Charleston, O'Dell worked as anchor for the NBC's Miami Station WTVJ-TV and also as an investigative journalist. She then joined Access Hollywood to work as a weekday and weekend correspondent. She also works as an anchor on Dateline NBC and NBC News Today. She's reported on The Oscars The Emmys The Grammys The Golden Globe Awards and co-hosted numerous pre-show arrivals show to The Emmys And The Golden Globes. Co-hosted also the Miss USA pageant and the Miss Universe pageant.
